Jeg skal jo have lært navnene på og placeringen af de 50 stater, så dagens poster er de tre stater, der starter med C. Californien, the Golden State, er den eneste stat, der har et dansk navn og er for mig staten, hvor the American Dream lever på fuld tryk, hvilket også kommer til udtryk i indledning om Californien i Lonely Planet:
